Experience Calculator
So i have a question about the experience calculations.

For example "Goat Simulator" says in the lobby 2m - 6m exp.

We got 4 members alive and of course all 13 goats ... and 10 % stealth bonus

but the result was day 1: 800k exp
and day 2: 800k exp

Its under the minimum and not even close on the maximum...

And its not only in the Goat Simulator.

Can anyone explain it?

PS: Sorry for bad english :)

Greetings

Yeah, the numbers are pretty off the actual numbers....

Other example is Diamond Store, there it says: 170k - 567k and you get around 770k

EXP is based on several different things. Cash and loot value is one which is why if you would to only take the value of items from Deathwish and put them on a normal heist level it would make it give more exp then teh base heist. Now the maximum is semi biased as you'll get much more EXP the more infamy levels you get and if you have certain stat boost items.

I don't know the complete algrorithm but they've did upgrade it, if you join later in game or are in custody you don't get the full amount of EXP. You also will lose exp if you are a low level *if you just infamied and joined a deathwish inorder for you to not level up 50 times you will not get full exp* and if you don't have a full perk deck. They are also probably very lazy and instead of writing out 1900000exp they just wrote 2mil. As i am sure it wasn't exactly 800000exp and was more 850000 or around that area which times by two =1.9milish.

I know this post is a little bit older, but I kept wondering the same thing. I just did Framing Frame DW with a 20% stealth bonus and the game predicted 3m to 6m EXP. I don't know the exact numbers anymore, but day 1 gave around 500k, day 2 not so much, and day 3 600k. I solo stealthed it all, got 9 paintings, secured all 9 money bags and got 6 or 7 gold bags. All in all, I stayed under the minimum EXP. Would be nice to know how reliable this min/max prediction really is, because it is a bit annoying to hope for that outcome and just not getting it...

The numbers are more a guideline than anything else, they are always wrong and most of times by hundreds of thousands or even millions.
If you want to calculate xp, I suggest you checking "The Long Guide" out for real numbers.

I think Goat Simulator brings roughly 50k base exp total upon completion, another 50k if you do Farmer Miserable. Consult Long Guide for precise base exp values.

Formula:

Base XP * Difficulty Mod * (1+ Perk Deck Bonus + Infamy Bonus + Crew Alive Bonus + Gage Bonus + Team Boosts Bonus) * Pro Bonus * Heat * Custody Penalty * Level Penalty

Difficulty Mod: 11 for OVK, 14 for DW
Perk Deck Bonus: 0.45 if you have the fourth card unlocked in your perk deck
Infamy Bonus: sum of all your infamy bonuses, max 2.05
Crew Alive Bonus: 0.1 for each member of the team who made it out past the first one
Gage Bonus: 0.05*Gage Packages Found/Gage Packages Total
Team Boosts Bonus: 0.03*Total Team Boosts for Team
Pro Bonus: 1.2 if it's PRO job
Heat: heat bonus, whatever it is
Custody Penalty: 0.7 if you are in custody at the end of heist
Level Penalty: each heist has a hidden difficulty level assigned to it. For each ten levels you are below the difficulty level, you lose 10% exp. Goat Heist is difficulty 30, Goat Heist Pro is difficulty 70.
