PAYDAY 2 Modern CPU Support

Anyone knowing what difference it makes from the regular option ?
FPS Boost or what it does exactly ?

I have an intel i7

was made in 2019. not modern. so i dont use that option.

if your cpu was made from 2021 or sooner then use that option.

its simply a launch option that optimizes for modern cpu's
likely to prevent crashes with modern pc setups

New launch option is for CPU with e-cores. So if your CPU have e-cores, you should use that new launch option.

I also thought of that, my CPU is from 2021 but it has no e-cores, so I was a little confused

if you have a ryzen CPU you can use ryzen master and it will tell you how many you have if any if you have intel cpu then i don't know but i'm sure they will have sometyhing similar to that

I have an intel CPU, but my CPU doesn't has e-cores, so I guess I will stick with the regular option anyway

AMD did not officially said what it is.

If I go with Intel's terminology, it is P-Cores.

E-Cores = Efficient cores
P-Cores = Power cores

AMD has CCD, I think you confused it with that.


E-Cores = Efficient cores
P-Cores = Power cores
