ATTENTION! - New changes to legacy collection

I didn't see any news for this yet, so i'll post this and hopefully (maybe) get a pin.

The legacy collection is no longer a dynamic bundle. If you own part of it you will no longer be able to buy the set.
Why is this happening?
Updates to steams new pricing rules mean that you can't put something on sale that pushes the price of an item below a certain threshold, full info below:

If the legacy bundle ever went on sale then it would reduce the item price too much, so now it has been changed entirely to a different kind of bundle, one where you need to purchase all or nothing.

Said this in the other thread, but this is a terrible 'fix' to the problem of Steam's awful pricing policy. I actually hope it's possible to sell premium currency via the store and then make in-game purchases super cheap to compensate. For example, charge $10 for 1000 currency, and then make Legacy purchasable as in-game content for 1000 currency. In theory, this would allow you to bypass Steam's pricing.

Actually not a bad idea, kind of like how ESO works actually. But at this stage i doubt this will ever happen.

They wouldn't. If it was an in-game purchase model you would just buy each item individually. They could discount items on a sale.

I strongly advise overkill to remove the base game from the legacy bundle with these new changes.
It basically means that if someone wants to try out the base game before getting DLC they can no longer get the legacy collection.

For the price of the infamous collection you could get 2 other triple A games, the legacy bundle was more than reasonably priced and they should definitely just remove the base game from it like you said.

They didn't even change the bundle description to mirror this change: "If you already own some of the included content (base game or DLCs), you will get a discounted price for PAYDAY 2: Legacy Collection based on how much content you already own."

I assume it's something to do with the new changes to the legacy collection but i'm not sure.
