--SOLVED-- *noob question* how to make double kills with a shotgun?

I'm looking to get the Shotgun 101 achievement, but I can't seem to get dem doublekills. any ideas?

You want a pretty low accuracy, so you have more dispersion of the pellets. Then if you make enough damage, it's pretty easy to get double or triple kills.

Camp the stairs or escalators on mallcrashers, and as the cops come up, blam-blam-blam, you have your double kills

Slug Ammunition can penetrate cops.

I had a Raven with Slug, it was pretty much like a Rattlesnake with lesser damage and range.

HE round has an explosive radius, which can boost your accuracy if you hit more than one cop

Also if you have the shotgun pack, you can use explosive ammo to hit several cops at the same time, will boost your accuracy.

HE rounds have a max accuracy of 100% which a lot of people reported so I wouldn't use those if you're going for shotgun 101.

Out of context, it sounds like you're complaining over explosive rounds and how accurate they are.

AP slug + line up cops. The side parking lot in Bank Heist works well (near the grenade case), since 3 - 4 cops will rappel down there on Hard or higher. You can get them all in one blast if you line'em up.

I tried that, it doesn't work. It has to be AP Slug and wait for cops to line up, or be lucky enough by killing 2 cops with a single shot with the regular ammo.

AP Slug with low/med accurate shotgun + cops coming up the two staircases on Mallcrasher, works wonders.

Well, npcs rarely line up perfectly, having a bit of spread on the bullets can help if you're fairly close to the first cop in a line, in case they're not standing perfectly behind each other.

Also, shooting civilians and still hitting cops will count, so it too can increase accuracy.


...I discovered this by mistake.

I basically using mosconi attached 000 buckshot ammunition type at mallcrasher 2F evacuation exit nearby the escalator. All you need is to attach 2 of its attachment and your mosconi's accuracy will be deducted to 0, then with the 000 buckshot damage boost, it's pretty easy to get double kill or tripple kill. Of course you can use the other shotguns concerned the accurary issue and chance to wait cops lining up, but if there's is a much more economical and easier way to obtain the achievement, why not just give it a shot?
