You purchase items for in-game cash just like any other classic rpg game
If you're part of the Offical Group, they get added into your inventory automatically - you just need to pay in-game cash to unlock them.
Your wording is more than a little misleading. I'm sure it's not intentional, but I'll have to clarify:
As long as you are a member of the community, the community items will be available in the in-game store (Click any empty slot in your inventory), where you pay in-game cash to add it to your inventory.
It could've been clearer. I just finished work so I'm a tad tired. Thank you for clarifying it.
