Fast Hands. Worth it?
I want to hear more opinions on what skills you think are worth putting points in.
4 skill points to get 75% loot bag packing and interaction speed.

Worth it or worthless?

I say it's worthless.
Not to many situations where i need to cut 3 seconds out of picking up a bag.
My alternative to cutting the time is just waiting for it to be safe to pick it up, or dropping bags in places with cover.
I'd much rather have the 4 points into something else in the lower two teirs of ghost.

For me, since I'm primarily mastermind, I like having the points in sprinter and cat burgler.
So I can swiftly run to the aid of fallen teammates to use inspire.

How about you?

Considering this game is mainly revolved around loot bags, I'd say it's useful as hell if you can afford it.

If you are a mastermind then you should really get it, actually, there is no reason why you wouldnt want this and transporter from the enforcer skill tree together unless your a full techforcer (bulletproof+heavy suit) and even then it would be a huge lost.

Renember that those 3 seconds can transform into MUCH more time, specially when you gotta move many bags and also if you have to pick one bag thats on a position being supressed by the cops.

It's fairly useful. Sprinter is the only skill in the first two tiers that is really valuable, fast hands has more use than the others.

Transporter is definately high up on the usefullness chart for me.
fast hands, not so much. Unless someone is throwing the bags into the middle of the street or something, I'm usually good.

It helps, especially if you want to get the achievement for taking the 8 bags from Rats without blowing it up.

Other than that, it saves a lot of time, especially in maps such as Firestarter.

I'd say it's one of those skills everyone should have. Since this game has such a heavy bag moving element, it's needed if you want to do anything efficiently. Take Firestarter Day 1 for example. The idea is to be out as soon as possible and not having Fast Hands will have a massive impact on that. I'd say it also applies to all other missions with bags. If you're only moving bags between assaults, you don't have much time to move them. Having Fast hands is neccessary if you want to be any use to the team. If you're moving bags during an assault, you want to be picking the bags up as quickly as possible as to not get surrounded in those 2 or 3 seconds you can't shoot. Remember, some missions have excessive amounts of bags. *Cough* Train Heist * Cough* When moving fourty bags, those 3 seconds become two minutes if you only pick up each bag once, which is highly unlikely.

Yep, thats what i was thinking too. This can be specially damaging if your a mastermind that cant tank damage properly,

I do like alot of these arguments. I might have to do this for a few more skills to get more input to better myself.

Cat Burglar isn't bad, but I really wouldn't ace it. Not many times where it really matters, at least in my experience. I might ace it without a Ghost infamy if I wanted the tier 4 Ghost bonus. I know most people hate it, but I find I prefer Chameleon for my token 1 point skill in Ghost to get up the tree. Quite handy on some maps to stay in casing to mark guards for people (Nightclub and Banks for sure).

Even if you don't like it (feels like a flame bait thread), you can't really say it's worthless. 4 guys without fast hands are just gimping themselves. Way too much added time to move bag trains. It's alot closer to being a mandatory skill than complete crap (Moving Target, looking at you). Any sort of stealther is going to want this for getting through areas faster (Shadow Raid, FF, Firestarter for certain). For loud you could probably survive with 1 person on the team not having it, but the entire team having to as you describe wait longer for it to be safe enough to sit there doing nothing for 3 seconds while grabbing a bag will just kill you.

EDIT: Oops, reread it. Nevermind.

Fast Hands is pretty much a must, because practically every heist has you hauling bags.

If you're not hauling bags, you better be the guy holding the cops off by yourself, otherwise you deserve a kick. ;)

Basic at least, ace is lightning.

yes.

What would you get instead?

Useful for Armored Transport. You don't want to get caught with your undies showing while you bent down for that three seconds in the middle of the road on Deathwish, do you?

"This sub-forum remains unchanged and still remains *the premier* go-to forum for discussing anything related to Sweden's and quite possibly the world's *hottest* bag simulator TWO.YEARS. RUNNING."

It's a bag simulator. If you aren't adding skills that revolve around bag simulation, you are doing it wrong.
