2: let them know you're new so they'll guide you instead of assuming you know what you're doing.
3: it's all one big happy bank account.
2) Yes, as long as you know the basics of a co-op game. Stay in cover, participate in the objective, and don't stroll around aimlessly whilst attempting stealth. Do this, and you should be fine. Stick with some of the easier heists to get going. I would recommend Jewelry store, Watchdogs, Mallcrasher, Four Stores, Nightclub or Ukrainian Job to get you started. Avoid Big Oil, Big Bank, and GO Bank for the first few levels.
3) Offline and online are linked. Any money, experience or rewards gained in either mode is transferred to the other. No strings attached.
Also, join the PAYDAY 2 Steam group, you can get a lot of extra weapons and masks that are unobtainable otherwise, and you will contribute to the community goal. Its a win-win.
If you need any help, or someone to join a game with you for a bit, feel free to drop me a message, and I will be happy to help you.
1)
You can join any map without any problems (some harder maps are level locked but that is a matter of time investment and getting xp) .
But if you want to host the DLC-maps (Armored transport and Bigbank )you need to purchase them first.
I highly recommend Gage mod courier for the gunmods.
2)
The stealth game mechanics are a bit mysterious to new players (unless you read some of the guides and ask in forums or use the search function).
The loud maps are easier to get into if the difficulty fits your level (overkill can be done with level 40 if you're a good player)
3)cash is cash there is no difference in online or offline mode, you just need to win the mission.
1) No you dont need any dlc to join a dlc map you only need to buy the dlc to host it
2) Stick to mission saying *normal* no skulls or *hard* and tell em your new if you join a lobby with more skulls then that you will be kicked
3)Yes its one account but you gotta know that 75% off the money you make will go to offshore account with that money you can buy contracts (missions)
