When will this game end?

Hello everyone,
does anybody know if the team has mentioned at some point if Crude Awakening will be the last heist to come out? I'm nearly finished in grinding out the final 100 infamy achievement and would like to know, if I can finally put this game to rest after finishing that and whatever 4 achievements come out with the heist.

Assumption is that Payday 3 releases, probably, around Fall 2023, so next heist might be the last one

Did you achieve most of them solo? the ones that were doable solo? i would love to watch some youtube vids and clips of some if you recorded any.

almir told me that after payday 3 releases if it doesn't sell well enough he's going to update the second game every year to completely rework all the code and break all the mods again out of spite, also he's going to add 1 achievement to the game that will never be attainable without cheating

Well no cause months back they said on Twitter Texas heat wasn’t going to be the last content update for payday 2.

I did all the stealth stuff solo and most of the achievemens that can be done solo. But I never recorded anything, so I can't show you anything.

But thanks for the other two replies. I was away from the game for a while, so I did not catch everything they said, and another DLC pack to milk this game one more time is always reasonable with this team, though I still hope this is the last set of achievements they add.

We will get one more Content update that is not DLC.

This will be the 10 year anniversary of Payday 2.

At which point I guess they add 10 new achievements, increasing Payday 2's total achievement count to 1337 like people have predicted for years.
