No, I don‘t get any error messages at all. As far as I have tried up to now, it doesn‘t matter if I try to start Payday out of Steam or via the .exe file in the game folder. The game won‘t launch and I don‘t get any errors messages at all.
I tried it but unfortunately this also doesn't work.
After renaming the .exe file and launching it as administrator I get a steam error message that the original file payday2_win32_release.exe can't be found.
I didn't start it from steam, I tried to start it out of the gamefolder.

I don't know how, but Payday 2 is running now... but it is a little strange xD .
I tried to start Payday in compatibility mode like described in the first link.
It didn't work an I managed to set the settings back to the original settings and somehow Payday 2 started then xD .
