it tells the game to use steam matchmaking instead of epic. Why is this so complicated for you?
As for PD2 though it's rough to flip the table and screw everyone over right before they close the game down as the mod scene is likely not going to be at its peak before retirement and after that. Paying modders is a big can of worms and easier said than done. Some might not do it for any money as it's their hobby and they have a job. Some might not do it unless unlikely sums of money would appear. It often poisons the well when you introduce money to modding.
Ah yes the so called "Ultimate Edition" because it was the "Definitive last Edition fr fr no cap" "We promise no more DLCs after this one" "trust me bro"... time later here we are, went from 35 DLCs aprox in the Ultimate Edition to 90 DLCs in 2023.
"Trust me bro no loot boxes" "Trust me bro, there will no be keys to open safes sold as micro transactions", "trust me bro, no weapon-skins boosting stats", "trust me bro no third party software or any additions added within this 237 update"...
The historic compilation of lies coming from this studio goes far and wide.
And the story doesnt even make sense anymore
