Title says it all, even Overkill's partnered content creators are beginning to revolt against them due to the awful quality of this update.

He directly condemns the current state of the game as well as the potential future of Payday 3 in his video saying that things are not looking good for them. The fact that he titled this video in a way that says it was self-sabotage also supports this as a revolt, a polite revolt but one nonetheless.

If you look at their recently officially released mobile game they dumped onto the market you'll see the awful monetization with that too. A hundred USD for some in-game currency! You could buy a AAA game instead and just enjoy that or a whole bunch of good games on sale or indie games. It's disgusting to see how low they will keep sinking.

This is the future that Overkill and Starbreeze chose for the franchise.

If you're talking about Payday 3 and people's reaction to that, yeah. That's kind of the vibe I was getting from him. IF you're talking about Payday 2, it was mostly just him parroting ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. There's 29,000 active players right now.
