Game not starting because of Epic Games Services

Wait what, Epic Games Services? I am playing a Steam Version, and when I am trying to press Enter to play, I am waiting for connection and I am getting error, that Epic Games Services haven't joined, so I have only 2 ways:
1. Play a Offline
2. Play a Epic Games Version
So, I can say only that:

They changed the finding for games from the steam servers to the epic servers.
You could try to set -steamMM as startup parameter and see if you can find some games then (This will force the game to use the steam Servers).

Does adding -steamMM to launch options not help? Is your game not launching?

Right click Payday 2 in your Steam Library -> Properties -> General tab, inside the General tab you should see 'Launch Options' and a text box. Simply enter -steamMM into this box, exactly like this.

Can confirm, -steamMM works. Moving to Epic online services has really messed this game up. What a terrible move.

They know it doesn't work but instead of reverting it like a smart person would they took their idiot pills and doubled down on keeping it.
