North Star rifle mod side job

So im trying to do the side job of unlocking modification the first 1 kill 150 cloaker is not really an issue whit the mutator but the 1000 double kill is kinda long any trick for doing faster?

OH avoid using Graze, makes things horribly inconsistent

i wish if they are gonna new guns they dont do this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ garbage you need 1000 kills with normal snipers and now they basicly want you to get 2k kills but its 2 guys for 1 bullet and the north star is just bad

well someone proposed something earlier but it got removed i think but no mercy is a really good idea since they just come from the same place and yeah i mean i dont mind doing a 1000 kill there plenty of cop but whit tricky stuff like double kill i aint a fan of that

Just finished that a few days ago... holy ♥♥♥♥ that ♥♥♥♥ was tedious. I got up on the bridge of prison nightmare and just farmed enemies for hours. Play it on normal and maybe take berserk / frenzy with heavy armor DO NOT use graze. Get up close take you're time and line up body shots... missing the enemy behind just makes it even more tedious. as for the mutator cloaker thing I don't think the kills are counted on that mode (I might be wrong). so you're best bet would be safe house nightmare. You might have to be on very hard for cloakers to spawn.

North Star is not your main weapon, it is backup weapon for short ranged weapons (akimbo smg/pistol etc) and deal shields without "Shock and Awe" skill. So that sniper is very good backup weapon for me, not trash weapon generally. If you want use 160 dmg sniper for main weapon, just use primary snipers, because better ammo pick up and slightly better accuracy.

5/7 has fall off damage and lower accuracy/damage/ammo pick up than North Star.

lol you 2 have no idea about guns, 165 dmg sniper rifles are the best weapons in this game and this isnt even a question, nearly all the DSOD elites agree with that. Grace is the most OP skill out there and this together with a sniper that does one shot headshot kills is insane.

the north star is a one to one copy pasta of the main 165 dmg sniper rifles just with worse ACC and ammo pickup, fix the acc with skills, ammo pickup is never a problem with sniper and grace and boom, you have the strongest weapon in the game just as a secondary.

my guess is you both didnt use zerk to get the one shot headshot break point or your aim just is that bad.

Now that you put it like that... I should try to make some sniper build with the North Star and see if it works out.

All sniper builds are the same, save a few skill point going towards extra acc depending on base acc on rifle. Just use a spammy SMG for primary in this case.

I'm not so sure if this rings true about ALL sniper related builds, because there wouldn't have been that massive conclusion that the Thanatos was the sniper rifle of choice if you wanted to one-shot Bulldozers even on Death Sentence. Now granted this was made back in 2020 so this might not fully be capable now a days
