Hardcore Henry Heists Story
The heists were fun, no doubt about it, but I'm just having trouble grasping everything. What the hell happened? What happened to the elephant? Who was that blonde wizard? Why did those women kill people in a elevator? Why did that man kill himself? What the ♥♥♥♥ just happened? Did I literally need to pay to go see a movie just to grasp what just happened?

Yeah go see Hardcore Henry if you want to really understand what's going on.

Or you could just read the plot online, but then you'd be missing out on an awesome movie!

He's not immortal, I could spoil it for you but I'm not going to do that here, for everyone's sake.
There's a reason he just suddenly shows up, and it makes sense in-universe for HCH

From what I gather, The Elephant just contracts the job (Hahahaha, just kidding, not really! Let's add another contractor for just two heists instead!). He wants you to stop Akan. He's planning on stealing the plans for cyborgs, and he's going to create a cyborg army. On day 1 (Murky Station), you steal the EMP bomb that you'll need. On day 2 (Boiling Point), you use the bomb to enter the facility and disable the cyborgs. Then you take the plans before Akan can.

And voila. A terrible storyline.

Elephant sets Dallas up with Akan, Jimmy intercepts with a counteroffer to have the crew work for him instead to put a wrench in Akan's heist plan, because working for Akan would be infinitely worse than they know.

They M. Night Shyamalan'd it before it even started. Even when I think I've figured it out, it keeps making less and less sense.

To put it even more simply

Politics man makes corrupt men work for evil man.
Drug man convinces corrupt men to work against evil man.
