About COP legendary skins

To my knowledge there are no known examples of "the gimp" or "green grin" legendary skins in circulation, and precious few "Dragon lords". We all already know that the COP will never be reissued, and rightly so. However, it seems a waste to have these skin be practically vaporware in game. What is the possibility of releasing these skins in another safe? @developers. What do other players think about this idea?

One of the devs talked about servers so we could see servers someday... doubt soon (But that all depends if Ovkl want to keep working on PAYDAY2 more than OvklTWD)

I really wish they'd increase drop rates of epics and especially legendaries. I think Overkill forgets that this game isn't CS:GO and not NEARLY as many safes get opened, thus making legendary skins virtually unobtainable because sellers have no competition so they list them for completely idiotic prices.

EG that one Epic thano (Stat boost) skin from Dallas collection was about $400 because it was the only one on the market.

Someone recently unboxed one and listed it at $36, which seems like a steal. It sold quickly.

There are less mint stat piercing thanies than mint Midas xD

Anyway I'm not sad that there hasn't been a Gimp or Green Grin yet. They look kinda ugly compared to the Dragon Lore.

Gimp is a pretty good looking skin too... if I could get any Legendary it would be that one ;-;

Gimp is a pretty good looking skin too... if I could get any Legendary it would be that one ;-;

I think gimp looks good too. Grin looks weird and tacky with the bills on it...

If I could pick a legendary, I'd pick Hungry Wolf. But alas, it will never be mine. Legendaries are worse than exclusive mask codes in terms of availability. At least mask codes can still be won in givaways. Legendaries are just pixels that sellers think are worth hundreds of dollars.

Just like masks lol. Look at the alienware and lootbag... It is not about the sellers, regardless of how much a seller wants to sell for, what defines the market is what the buyer wants to pay. A good example are skins sitting at high price and NEVER selling. Legendaries do sell for $50 to $200, sometimes more but that's rare.

Some people give away skins once in a while. I have seen it.

I give away skins all the time. In fact, I'm giving away my Geri and Freki skin to a friend in about an hour once it drops the trade lock because I never use akimbo deagles.

And the prices are outrageously high because of how rare they are. Yeah, every once in awhile one will go for $200, and I'm not faulting the seller. I'm faulting Overkill for making them so insanely rare. I'm not even gunna lie, I'd pay $40 for a legendary that I wanted, even if I would take a loss on it if I ever decided to sell it. But they rarely ever sell for that, and even if they do, there are crazy high buy orders, so it'll never happen.

I keep getting outbid or tired of keeping my bids up for a Big Kahuna. And considering how rare Wolf skins still are right now it'll be a while til we see more than the 1 Hungry Wolf that got sold.

Well if it's like any other minigun skin, the gun itself will be barely visible unless you're inspecting it, which is kinda bleh to me.

If it is confirmed none was ever unboxed, then i would be all for using them in other safes. However they would need to disable the drop is all unopened COP safes, so only Lords could drop.

I get what you are saying, you don't want the Dragon you own to be devalued, however considering the rarity, I feel a middle ground could be reached so that other players could enjoy playing with that skin. The Midas dropped in multiple safes, as did the rodinia, so it isn't like this hasn't been done before.

I believe that was done to kickstart the market and not have extremely rare legends from the start. A lot of Rodina's and Midas's have been unboxed. Other legends are significantly more rare.
