The skill trees - how do they work?
ive been wondering - are all of the skill that i purchase apply during heists even if i dont use that skill trees specific item ? i.e ammo bag for the enforcer and trip mines** for the technician ?
if thats the case then whats the point of the several skill sets (1 in lvls 1-49 2 sets in 50-75 i think) ? is it just so i can switch from all stealth to all damage and defence? game seems to fail to explain this system or it might be that i just didnt notice a tutorial on the subject ?
thanks in advance

Well, yes. The deployable you use is irrelevant, all skills apply themselves all the time. Skill sets are there to easily switch to different builds, like from dodge&crits to stealth or armor. The game doesn't explain this because it should be fairly obvious, no disrespect intended. The game does have a bad habit of not explaining things though, but you can always read the wiki or the Long Guide.

thanks , but i was more confused on the matter of when skills apply - just making sure on the skill sets

Yeah, all skills apply, that's why people tend to make a lot of build mixing the enforcer's heavy armor with the technician skill that add +50% or the inspire aced skill instead. Don't be afraid to make combinations or test new things, maybe you'll like dodge more than armors or the opposite.

One last thing: the perk decks, don't be afraid to use them, they could save your life.

doesn't matter?! if you dont even know what equipment a skilltree has you barely know what skills the tree is about

Doesnt matter as in i mixed up something with another thing , no biggie ...
and its not like its too hard to read which skills do what..

But it matter. Lack of basic knowledge mean Instant kick of higher difficulty (OVK / DW)

Other hand. Prepare yourself because after couple of months changes the whole skill system

i obviously dont go and purchase every skill i can , i have a specific set for armor - its not like im being an "idiot" in a lack of a better word . and lucky for me i dont even go on overkill and DW so... thanks for the heads up tho on the skill tree change.

and again , i do not lack basic knowledge , i just got two things confused thats all
