URGENT: I found a PAYDAY knockoff on roblox

so there is this game on roblox that is a 1:1 ripoff of PAYDAY 2, this kind of stuff cringes me... https://web.roblox.com/games/21532277/Notoriety its a knockoff of PAYDAY 2... there arent any notable creative liberties either, the game was built to rip off of PAYDAY 2

just take it out or atleast contact the devs, this cringe game has gotten so much attention and it really doesnt desserve it

Edit: Roblox DOES KNOW this is a thing, if you look "payday 2" on the roblox browser it is the first result along some other fangame RP games wich i assume arent an issue

Good point. That's probably why they didn't run after it at all. That said I still think their erm... "store" is a bit pushing it but that's my opinion really.

Probably why the smartest move is to ignore all these things until they don't. That way they don't need to make an official stance on anything but still have the right to stamp out anyone who goes too far. An open stance on these things in that vein can do great things for a franchise. For a more extreme example of just look at how Touhou Project became a massive thing thanks to this attitude taken very far. It's just another shooter of many in reality but allowing fandom to thrive and fuel it lifted it up.

We typically don't mind this kind of thing until money is involved since laws and whatnot, so just in case I'll let the rest of the team know-- but it's possible they already do!
