Jacket not unlocked?

I recently bought Hotline Miami and Hotline Miami 2: wrong number during a sale on Steam. I did unlock the masks from Hotline Miami but not Jacket. It says I need the special edition but it's nowhere to be found on Steam... Anyone have a solution?

For me, the special edition is on this page right under the normal one.
"Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number - Digital Special Edition"
Edit: almost forgot, if you already have the base game, get the "Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number - Digital Special Edition Upgrade" instead, which is lower on the page.

Because "special" and "digital deluxe edition" are two different words.
Because there is HM 1, HM 2, HM Digital Deluxe & the HM DLc from PD2 itself wich all unlock content for PD 2.

You need HM2 Digital Special. Thw 20 bucks version one. Buy the upgrade or give it up. Jacket is the least favorite character for me.

For some reason the special edition didn't show in the steam store on PC, but it did on the app now. Thanks for you guys' help.

You can upgrade your HM2 standard edition into the deluxe edition--the one needed to unlock Jacket for 6 dollars.

I really think Overkill should rethink how jacket is unlocked, all other DLC heisters max price is £3.99 - 4.99$

To unlock jacket you have to pay a total of £14.99 ~20$ (I Think) which makes Jacket the most expensive DLC char in the game.

Hotline Miami 2 rarely goes on sale for a reasonable price that would be on par with other DLC chars, I am aware that you also get a game too, but honestly the game just is not that good to justify paying the price they ask outside of sales, not to mention the thousands of Ausies who are still waiting on their codes a over a year later with no other way to obtain Jacket other than to rely on Overkill to email them a code.

There really should by now be an alternative way to obtain Jacket, like a Jacket char pack priced above the regular price of a DLC char so some of the proceeds can go to denneton software or whatever.

I bought HM2 myself during it's 75% off sale just so I could unlock Jacket, I found the game itself to be quite annoying and if I had spent £14.99 on it, I would honestly feel ripped off.
Lots of pd2 players that buy HM2 do so solely so they can unlock jacket and his perkdeck and are not even interested in playing the game, it's the biggest rip-off since COP.

We all know Overkill are sitting on an almost infinite ammount of Jacket codes, maybe now should be the time when they should start handing out the codes as prizes in give-aways, It's unfair on the Ausies who have waited and waited for their codes, and unfair on people who Just want Jacket and his perkdeck to lock him behind not only another game, but also expect you to own the upgraded version of that game for a price that outweights any other DLC heister char, In fact you could buy 3-4 DLC's for the price of what you would pay for Jacket.

You're buying a game for the character. Them's the brakes. You can either buy the game, play the game, AND enjoy Jacket or you can do what I did and buy the game, install the game, uninstall the game (cursing it quietly), and play as Jacket.

I would have loved separate DLC for him but I'm also a sucker. I did not find HM to be entertaining enough to warrant a purchase of number 2 but for exclusive P2 content....
