John Wick jobs?

I've been playing a few random jobs, and it seems that there are certain civilians you now need to take back to the van for "Wick"? What is this?

Yea, I thought about this, but why would Overkill revisit a very old character? I know he is loved by all (totally), but why Wick?

It's for the achievement "Saint Francis" for now.

Here's a description of the achievement : "Complete the Bank Heist job after finding the 2 punks in the parking lot and bringing them next to the van, without letting them get away or die on the OVERKILL difficulty or above."

But why Wick, why couldn't they just say "Oh, some random guy wants them"?

They are also making a John Wick VR game and they said on some announcement for it that they would make john wick content for payday 2 along with it, self promotion i guess

I'd say "it's about time Overkill pulled the trigger on the 'Wick has some jobs he wanted the gang to do' thread made years back", but at the same time, that also goes for the Butcher/Dragan, and Jiro, and so on.

Wick would be near (if not at) the top of that queue, tho.
