Any tips on how to go about it? Heist? Difficulty? Tactics? I don't really have any idea how to go about it.

I did it on the Diamond,DW.
We got it before the assault started

"Have all four players using a fully unlocked Maniac perkdeck and have an average of 65% or more of the white Maniac bar filled."
Basically you just need 3 other people with Maniac perk deck. All of you have to fill that bar to 65% and/or more. Heist doesn't matter.

It's not over the entire heist, like I originally thought, so anything with high spawns/titan dozers.

Diamond DW/OK with flame thrower seems to be the preferred method.

If you want a tip, do something like Rats or Cook Off where Captain Winters can spawn. Let him build up some damage resistance. Then have everyone dump into him all at once. May require a restart if you don't time it well.

Or a more reliable way, do something like The Diamond or Hotline Miami (day 2) and stick around until you get it.

Did it on Cook Off OVK, got it quickly. Tried it again with another group, people couldn't seem to keep their damage up. Ended up doing First World Bank OVK, everybody unloading (body shots) into the Bulldozers in the vault.

Seriously, just do lab rats. You spawn right in front of a headless dozer. Take an LMG if you don't have a flamethrower and just have everyone fire at him as soon as the doors open. You should have your stacks filled pretty quickly.

Lab rats Is a good choice because of The titandozer. Then you could do jewelry store on DW + Flamethrower. Stay in The room at The right side and then coming out all together. Got it in no time there

Definitely Lab Rats on Deathwish as everyone else has pointed out.

I brought an ECM feedback build with a Deagle.
Just fire 4 shots at the body every hysteria wave for the full 600 hysteria stack.

Of course the hardest part is finding 3 other players to do it so check out the crews and clan subforum.

Start up any DW heist with high spawn rates. Then shoot any enemy you find and wait.

Honestly, the hardest part of Megalomania seems to be setting up a team for it in the first place.
