The Dentist is a possible reference to Django Unchained ?

Those last days i've rewatched (and watched for the last one) all the tarantino's movies, including Django Unchained, and I've found some similarity between the Dentist in payday and Schultz in Django.

I have two versions, but both starts like that :
At the beginning of the movie, Schultz can be seen as a dentist, and he claim he's a dentist, but in the end he's not, and he's doing "illegal" bussiness, even if it's not that much illegal since he's just a bounty hunter. I guess you're seeing what i'm trying to say, but it doesn't end here.

The first version start at the very beginning, when this Dentist decide to save an unchained prisonner/slave named Django while he's being moved by "guards", i guess you're still seeing what i mean. After that (after helping the prisonner) he will even "help" him to get his revenge, and (SPOILER of Django Unchained) in the film, the "Dentist" help Django (the free prisonner/slave) to kill 3 slave masters that whiped Django and his wife, and at the end of the film, he'll even kill all the slave masters of the DiCaprio's planting, and ofc he got helped by the fake "Dentist" to kill those I guess the link between payday and Django is now quite clear for you ? Oh, i might add that after breaking Django/Hoxton out of jail, The Dentist asked help from those that they helped. In the movie he ask help to Django for his bountys, and then he works with him, in payday he asks The Crew to make the Diamond and the Golden Grin after freeing hoxton, so he asks some help from the crew and he works with them, the link is there again.

I'll go with the second version, so you basicly forget everything about the first version and just keep the lil' introduction in your mind. So, In this version, let's say Django is the crew searching to get Hoxton out of "prison", and in the film searching to get Django's wife free. Now that you see the link, you just can remember what i said in the last part of the spoiler, and you understand how the Dentist helped Django (the crew) to get his wife free (to get hoxton out of prison). I might add as well that the Dentist in payday will ask some help with the Big Bank to the crew (Django in the movie, helping the D. with his bountys) before freeing Hoxton (Django's wife in the movie), so again the link is there.

That's quite simple, dunno if it's just a coincidence or if it was really the devs idea to make a reference to Django unchained, but in the end for me it's really interesting.

Oh and i might add that The Dentist die in Django, and in payday, it's been a while that we have no news from him

Would be cool for a mission, but instead of the Dentist dying, we would need to protect him. Where is the fun of a contractor dying?

I added a few details linking the game to the movie even more on both versions. The details are about the heists that the dentist asks you to do to help him in return (version A) or before (version B) helping Hoxton, just like the dentist in the movie ask Django to help him with his bountys after freeing him.

Well, for reservoir dogs the only possible heister is Pink, it's kind of hard for the others if you know what i mean. Would definitly pay for a character played by Tim Roth, favorite actor in tarantino movies :D

Ho, i might throw in another possible reference between Breaking Bad and Reservoir Dogs if someone is interested :
The two main character of breaking bad are Mr. WHITE and Mr. PINKman, just like two of the 5 main characters in reservoir dogs (not counting Brown and Blue cause we barely see them), Mr. White and Mr. Pink. So again, the names are kinda the same, but it's not the end ! In reservoir dogs, White seems much older than Pink, just like in Breaking Bad, and even if they are partners, they have argues and in reservoir dogs they even end up pointing guns at each other, even if in the end they are partners. (if you watched breaking bad you've probably seen White and pinkman's lil' vocal fights etc...). Anyway, the last point of my theory is that (spoiler of both breaking bad and reservoir dogs) in both, White die and Pink get out with his money

Since you are kinda on the topic of Reservoir Dogs and Mr Pink you might want to have another look at the ending, if you listen closely to what's happening outside of the warehouse when Mr Orange is telling Mr White about him being an undercover cop you can hear that Mr Pink is intercepted by the cops on his way outside and thus possibly gets arrested or killed.
