What's PD Gang's purpose?
They kept robbing banks, but what they were doing with the money?
For their own gains, but didn't see they spent anything for fun. Like Wolf didn't take a day off and go to dance floor.

Killing civilians is wrong, but slaughtering hundreds of law enforcers... okay. Well, they were people, they might have family too.

Or maybe I didn't play PD:TH, thus I'm unclear about their origin.

There's an old saying in the writing community:

"Is this the most interesting part of this character's life? If not, why not show THAT instead?"

Playing as Hoxton going out for cigarettes, Bodhi kicking back at a tropical cabana, or Jimmy doing ALL of the coke wouldn't be as fun as the actual game.

They probably spend a good chunk of that cash hopping from safehouse to safehouse

Drop your weapons and no one gets hurt.

Works both ways.

From many things that are fan theories, after the events of Payday 1 they all got new identies started new lives and went off the grid for the most part. But as we all know cash is king and you can never have too much money. So they all got going again, somewhere between the events of Payday 1 and 2 Hoxton was left behind so instead of Hoxton getting a new identity and enjoying some downtime he was in prison lol Their purpose has always been stated as stealing from the corrupt like modern day robin hoods minus the giving back to the poor which in turn has lead to their own corruption in my opinion given the jobs they do now, it goes beyond simple stealing from the corrupt banks now. I mean they prevented fusion technology from being implemented to keep the oil companies happy, that's some high level corruption in my opinion. The steady manufacturing and sale of meth, we all know meth destroys lives but it's profitable. It always boils down to who's paying the most and Bain keeps the Payday Gang in touch with who's paying the most. Like I said it's all fan theory stuff mostly Overkill stopped giving Payday Gang a purpose a long time ago, so fans make the theories and throw in their opinions. That's my opinion of it all at least. Honestly though I am very excited for the future of the Payday Gang. Since they have already confirmed Dallas as a playable character for upcoming Walking Dead game they are doing, plus we all know that will come out before Payday 3 does, maybe we'll start to see a combined timeline of sorts who know's what the future holds for Overkill's games but I for one am very excited.

Killing civis is wrong because they are unarmed. Cops have guns and can defend themselves.

The joke answer is that Clover spends her money on meth, Bonnie spends hers on food, and Jimmy spends his on cocaine. What we do know, however, is that Chains had a very nice house. What a shame.

Didn't you know that PAYDAY cops are actually an army of clones?

In BigBank there is a stock sign that mentions "Cop Cloning .Co" so I think cops are ok to kill without ruining families lives

What's their purpose? Money. To quote Other People's Money: "Make as much as you can. For as long as you can. Whoever has the most when he dies, WINS."

To quote Heat the movie that inspired a lot of Payday "for me, the action is the juice".

Chains has to buy more houses since he keeps blowing them up.

nah, this isnt a story driven game, so if you play PDTH expecting to get a reason for all this cop murdering, you are just going to get nothing out of it
