Ah. you're talking about that one. Seeing you weren't specific, I thought you ment just regular day 1;)
Still I don't see how this "insults you intelligence" nor how this justifies cheating.
Too late, the banhammer already dropped
Just hit me up Mali. Happy to help out. Even with stealthy ones ;)
Too bad. At least he was honest about it. That's more I can say of most cheaters.
Anyone who is dumb enough to admit to cheating on this forum deserves to be banned lol.
-Unlocking the mod(s) to that achievement (Butcher car/ak pack, Gage Sniper, Historical pack).
-Make themselves "Better" by view (Before Mods such as Inspect lobby, NGBTO, STC, and Lobby player info were really a thing and/or not very many people were using it) apon look over without going to deep into a profile for a 15-20 minute heist. Even though they might suck alot (Which can play off that "XXV-100" is just having a bad day. in the eyes of other players).
-Give them a false impression of "100%" a game where new achievements are added in roughly every month or so.
-A rare case of a buggy achievement that doesn't prok even if you follow it down to letter because of a bug from an update or 2
Back before Crimefest 2015 every point of accuracy, Stability, and Damage was almost hard earned either because you either got lucky in a card drop, Finally found that last gage package for mod X for your Weapon Y. In some cases (AK/Car pack) people are just lazy not to do it themselves and resort to using SAM to Unlock the achievment and thus "Aquired" their hard earned Mod(s) to boost their Car-4 or AK rifle even further then before.
An example is an achievement for Super Meat Boy. It requires you to do all of the hardest levels in a row without dying a single time. It's extremely difficult, to the point where very few have it legitimately. It may take hours and countless attempts to even get near completing it.
For those saying that tossing in goats one by one is different because it's not that hard, or is something you've already done, well so is the achievement I mention. If I recall correctly, to unlock the trial to do it you would have already have completed the levels once already, meaning you are already have potential of completing it.
However, just because you know you can do and can't be damned to do it does not mean you deserve it.
I'd have to have a look at what mods I still have locked. My idea gaming experience is a perperual state of ignorance of achievements. I have the most fun when I pretend they don't even exist, because all they do is annoy me. It's why I can't stand to replay games which insist on shoving achievements into gameplay ala Bullet Storm. Good game but YUCK!
Oh, of course. I spent a lot of time pirating video games when I was younger before I found Steam and realised how much easier it is to simply own my games. I'm familiar with that sort of situation :) It's simultaneously disappointing to see someone constructive banned on the basis of cheated achievements, and also predictable. The mods here take achievements very seriously, apparently.
Again - stuff like this is why I feel that achievements are one of the worst things to happen to gaming. The very need to protect them fiercely lest they lose their meaning even though they meant nothing to begin with is why I don't think the system was ever positive for gaming. Especially not the way Steam handles it. Then again, it's easy for me to say since I literally do not care about achievements when they don't prevent me from using certain weapon mods...
I doubt it'll ever come to that, though. I'm too lazy to cheat achievements in much the same way as I'm too lazy to pirate games any more.
