I'm not old enough to see R movies in theaters so this makes me happy.
It's the same for Windows Store's rental price (idk about Google Play or iTunes) but it was worth the 6 bucks to me.

Probably because the rental system got bombed here.
No one was willing to pay €6-€10 just to rent a movie they could buy on bluray or dvd for such prices, especially since Steam often had censored/cut versions on offer (Return of the Living Dead 3 was a prime example; they offered the UK (heavily cut) version, not even in full HD, to all of Europe for quite a large sum... ♥♥♥♥ that, i bought the uncensored dvd for less).
