GOLDEN GUNS in Payday 2 as a reward ?

Hey guys,

the title says pretty much everything,
so I was watching some skins from the PD2 community and then I saw this golden skin for the judge shotgun :

And had a unoriginal idea since TF2, CoD and Overwatch has that.

But wouldn't it be cool if we could get golden weapon skins if we kill a special amount of enemies with a weapon?
for example , to make golden wepons unique , 25.000 kills with the Judge ( for example ) , and you get the skin as a reward.

I mean, people like me who are 25-100 and have 97% of all achivments don't know what to do in PD2 and the only reason I come back sometimes is because I help a friend with achivments or just 4 fun OR when new skins / updates are released :P

And yes I also know that we have already a golden gun which is the golden AK , but it was just a community thing and the mods make it ugly :x

Would be cool if this would be actually a thing in this game and it would make fun to grind for some golden guns :D ( I really enjoyed playing to become 25-100, that was once my main-goal in PD2 and after that I did th achivments )

Oh and btw , I hope the creator of this golden judge skin isn't mad at me for making his skin to an idea but I upvoted for it , so I think everything is fine

Sorry, the mayority of the community is not made up by 12-year-old CoD Modern Warfare players but are usually more mature.

Hence why Golden Gun are not wanted and would be more of a punishment than a reward.

I'm all for an idea like that. I do exactly that in Battlefield games. Once I unlock everything and hit max rank, I grind out every last weapon and get all of the attachments for each one. I wouldn't mind something like that in PAYDAY as well. Basically, I just like having some goal to work towards, preferably with some sort of light at the end of the tunnel.

I am pretty sure, that's what Infamy is, more or less: A very long term goal that, in the end, isn't actually giving you anything other than a bit of cosmetics and bragging rights.

also why do you exactly think it's more a punishment than a reward?
It must not be an achivment like "get 5 golden wepaons" or something like that, it should be more like a "You-can-do-it-if-you-want"-feature, not a "YOU-MUST-DO-IT"

Do you think some hosts will kick other players because they don't have golden guns or what?

yes but not golden. thats too common nowadays.
something more special would be nice.
