So it's purely cosmetic? No stat change?
I've had a mint gun that I've been using for several days. Are you certain that the gun skins can actually be damaged?
Or is it just whatever they came out of the safe as, its what they will look like forever
Can a battle-worn drop to nothing and have the mods be unusable?
Mint-condition will have the design look perfect, like you just painted the gun. While Battle-worn or well-used can look scratched, scuffed, and dinged.
However, you can unlock stat boosts in game and equip them on any weapon you want.
No stat change, purely a more 'scratched" effect.
Doesn't help when it's already ugly to begin with, though.
Yea I get the stats/attachment things
I was mainly wondering about the weapon/skin-status because some of the mint ones are crazy priced ($100s of dollars) but the same set of mods/attachment/stat boost in a lesser "quality" might only be 50 cents for the battle-worn
Being new to the game it just makes you think there was more to it than appearance when the prices are that far apart
Or they're legendary, which are pretty much always expensive. Except the newest two.
Still worth the cost IMO.
