AMCAR rifle and AMR-16 rifle

Why those guns are SOOOO similiar in their design?
Did Overkill by mistake added 2 guns into game that are based on the same real life gun?

EDIT: well ok there are 2 different yet so similiar guns in real life https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M16_rifle but why didnt Overkill make them a bit more unique so you can tell a easier the differance?
Asking cos most of rifles are so unique in design (yes I know most of them if not all are based on real guns...)

AMCAR : Colt m733,which is a carbine ; itself is a lightweight version of the M16

AMR16 : Colt M16a4,which is a full lenght assault rifle


You seriously can't tell them apart? You know,different lenght and shape of the handguard,differently styled carry handle , etc.? Because,you know,that's how you can tell them apart in real life...The 3d models are a quite faithful replica,so i would rather take them as they are,instead of adding weird quirks to make them "unique"

Welp this game happens To run with real weapon replicas...At least in the looks. Balancement wise, ballistics are screwed
