PAYDAY 2
Second wind skill
This skill really need to go away or at least swap with something else. As if anyone who use a high concealment lowblow build need more move speed. It is so awkward with that constantly changing move speed when you or your teammate lose their armor.

Edit: The skill should not be mandatory for anyone who wish to climb the skill tree.

Can anyone who played more than 90% of their game on nothing but suit comment here?
I really don't see what having played mostly in a suit makes your opinion worth more....

Knowing the topic you are discussing makes your opinion worth more.

Having turtles commenting on this issue is like if I went to a discussion about armour and said "I don't see any difference between LBV and ICTV". That would be as idiotic and ignorant as saying that sudden and constant 30% speed boosts don't affect you. Of course they don't; an ICTV with all speed bonuses (Duck and Cover, Parkour, Inspire, Second Wind...) barely reaches the base speed of the Suit; slightly faster slow is still slow.

Yeah, but you don't have to only pöay in a suit to talk about the issue, I play with almost every armor in game. I don't say my opinion should be worth more, but I shouldn't be ignored just because I don't use the suit all the time.....

I've used the suit for 90% of my entire play time, and I've told you what I think about removing it.
I mostly use suit and LBV and find that skill a pretty good thing, especially for a T1. Yeah, sure, it takes you by surprise when you suddenly get a speed bonus, but it's a good way to get to cover/enemy faster.

Removing it all together is a pretty drastic step. What about the middleground where it stays but only affects the ones who wants it?
Or even better. give an audiocue, abit like when peeps Inspire you to speed.Theres always .5-1 sec delay before that procs.. atleast in my end(could be desync. dunno.. but it works)

Here's how I'd go about it while keeping the same idea in mind.
Everytime the player who aces it's armour breaks, they'll give everyone in their crew a second wind charge, when they press some random key they binded to, it will activate and then they'll get the speed boost, it can only stack once.
This way it wont take you by surprise and "Ruin your game sense" but still serves the same purpose.
Besides OP said to remove it, not me, I personnaly find it a very useful skill even when I don't have it.

aye. agree its very usefull in the right situations. It have saved me more than once alrdy. Unfortunately its the deaths that stays in the memory.
Anyways.
Triggeractivation; could that be the "sprint-only" version?

I don't care what key they put it onto, but it would stop all these "Omg second wind breaking muh game sense and i hate tbh." threads.

all these threads?? you mean this one?
idk. i think its natural that peeps discus the skill of their fav game after a big overhaul. And ofcus some will like it more than others. Arguing where a skill should be placed or how it should be activated fits right into general discussion imo

It's actually good for armor users...
Keep it in.

It was made so that people would get to cover quickly after losing armor, it works wonders for dodge players since they have low armor
As someone who's used nothing but dodge since it was included in the game, having low armour isn't an excuse to play like an idiot; if you are caught with your pants down a mile away from the nearest cover, it's your fault for being bad.

You don't need 30% extra speed to get to cover, since even with a max speed build you should always be able to get to cover in less than a second, no matter where you are.

while i admit it feel wierd it's the same as complaing when you get a speed buff from inspire, and i never saw someone complaning about that, are you gonna tell me that this isn't gonna help the ICVT slow dude that it's carrying the heavy bag such as engine/server/artifact
Why on earth would a turtle carry a heavy bag when literally anyone with anything but an ICTV would do it more efficiently? It seems that all of your reasons to validate this effect are based on rewarding bad play in general.

As for Inspire, that's something people will use when appropiate (eg; pushing the enemy line, moving bags, getting to an objective), not sometthing that will randomly trigger when you are fighting.
Because a Turtle can tank bullets better than a guy in a suit. The entire idea of Dodge is to move fast, and use that movement to both confuse enemies and kill them.
ICTV players carry bags because they don't need to move fast. 800 Pound Gorillas can tank the bullets that Dodge players can't. And shrug off Sniper shots.

There's been multiple threads asking to remove this skill, so yeah it's pretty much the new safe house when thread.
fyi; transporter aced now gives reduced movementspeed based on armortypes. That means armorusers moves, in effect (as the distances in game are limited), just as fast as dodgeplayers with bags. its only on few maps the diff becomes noticable

I haven't checked, but is it mostly just dodge players complaining about it?
