i was playing counter strike gloabal offensive, and i happened to notice that the map "Bank" is actually an EXACT COPY of the go bank heist, is this some sort of coincidence, or did one company give permission to the other to use the map layout?

i actually dont play counter strike as much as payday 2, i never played on the counter strike map until today

Valve let Overkill use the CS:GO map for GO Bank. In the same way that Valve let them have the Halloween event for PD2, include L4D/2's witch. In the Train Heist, there is the TF2 symbols, and the TF2 engineer turret heist.

In PD1, the No Mercy heist, from L4D1. Where you are stealing the green flu blood, from patient zero on the 4th floor of the No Mercy hospital, complete with RNG chance for Bill(L4D1 survivor) to talk to you in the elevator instead of Bain giving heist instructions(tying into The Sacrifice comic). No Mercy heist also has a witch jump scare, red health box, and gives you L4D1 masks if you own L4D1 or L4D2. Probably something else, that I am forgetting.

Also, though this is just my personal opinion, the vast amount of cops that appear (Seems to be a challenge compared to some other heists on loud) may be a reference to the large amount of CTs on some Counterstrike servers.

I never knew about the charlie santa acronym

and for me, bain has NEVER said any of those quotes saying valve, counter, or strike,
