Ak 5 mods

I've been trying to farm weapon mods for a while to get Ak 5 mods, but NONE have showed up. Is there any way to effect drops to favor a certain weapon? Like say using it? Or is that completely impossible?

The AK5 is not that good of a weapon IMO

I just want something new, I have a fully modified CAR-4 and well, I'm sick of using it. And seeing it.

Anyway, I realised that I have never used or seen the AK 5 in game, so I decided to try it, and liked it.
I think with mods, it could be a GREAT weapon.

As far as I know, the only way to affect what weapon mods you get, is to avoid using those you dont' want, so you'll have two of each of them, making the "pool" of mods smaller. So no, unfortunately, don't think it's possible easily.

I used to use this until it was nerfed. It's stilll a good middle-ground concealable gun though!S The guide Vancouver posted should help.

Nothing you can really do other than sell back weapon mods you already have on your guns / not make a lot of masks etc.

Just card farm like others have said. You will get them eventually. If you sell all your primaries except for that one you will have a higher chance of getting mods for it, but re-buying your weapons and re-modding them would be expensive depending on how many you have. The more you play, the more you will dislike the AK5 I think. I have both handguards and both stocks for it, so mine looks a lot like the AK5c from Battlefield 4 (but with a long barrel, no barrel mods for AK5 sadly). I used to use it a lot but it's severely lacking in damage potential. These days I use the Golden AK, the Commando 553, and the AMR-16.

Also unlock tier 6 of the Ghost tree. It will reduce the chances of you getting BS card drops like money and EXP.

Sorry man they removed that in a patch not to long ago, Now it's called "Camera Loop".
But like everyone was suggesting you need to do some card runs, so that you can gain more opportunities for that weapon mod.

Lucky Charm may be gone, but the tier 6 bonus in Ghost still gives you a 10% improved chance of better loot in the Payday.

Better loot = Infamous items. And it isn't 10% total. It ADDS 10% to the existing infamous drop chance. So instead of something like .10% chance of getting an infamous item it's .11%.
