You know, The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection was free on Origin recently. Why not just play that, if you want to customize a little house? As for Steam Workshop, I'm pretty sure Overkill has mentioned numerous times that user-created heists and the like are pretty much impossible to ever implement in Payday 2, because of how the engine it uses works.

Also new chains? really? the chain from payday 1 and payday 2 are exactly the SAME.
The only difference is the change in voice expression etc but they are the same character, there's no old chain etc.
