How good are dodge builds right now?

So I haven't played PD2 in a while (like a few months, stopped around U102 IIRC?). What's the new meta? Dodge still okay?

Just wanna know so I can make my typical Crook build again... and hopefully not get kicked for using Crook.

Dodge is kaputt above OVK, you´re playing the numbers game and losing way too often

You can't rambo with dodge like way back in the past but it isn't bad. I use a suit dodge build on one down and it works fine, but you have to understand playing on the hardest difficulties you simply must always stick to cover and expose yourself as little as possible. Those cops don't miss all the time like on lower difficulties, and you can be insta downed if you aren't careful.

I have easily outlived many people in armour though. So people calling it useless probably aren't playing it out properly. If you want survivabiltiy I would still probably recomend armour instead, I'm running a dodge build because I'm using crits.

In Mayhem/Deathwish/One Down only? Or OVK and below as well? Because that is exactly the build I was hoping to make. (W/ 2 shotguns, 30% crit chance, and ammo bags)

Well it's pretty bad on One Down. I havn't played overkill since the update, (assuming overkill hasn't gotten harder) crook builds were great. I'm assuming mayhem is like deathwish so dodge should be ok.

Viable, if you know how to play it. Armor undeniably is a meta, but hey, who cares, if you can play and win with it, it's good. I'm playing crook and I "ramboed" DW Bomb: Forrest with a friend, if it means nothing then I don't know what does.

Dodge build with crook for One Down.
When I played with a similair build I felt like I died instantly if I didn't dodge just one bullet but idk.

My crook shotgun build has been doing just fine on Mayhem and Deathwish. I need to be ungodly careful on DW now, though. Still, the chance to dodge might be a bit low in comparison to the damage you take.
