Alienware FX? What is it doing?

So i recently got a new alienware, about like 6 months ago and was too busy to dabble in the lighting effects minus the basic on and off colors.

Now that time has passed I have been trying to figure it out after seeing what my friends keyboard does. So I turned on Alienware FX through Payday 2 and all it did was change the colors from the color i had it set 2 to green. No other game changes. So what exactly does Alienware FX do in Payday 2, and how do you enable it to work right?

I don't know much about this, but I think it is related to Alienware PC's and laptops. Nothing else to say from my side.

it triggers lights on alienware pc, i think keyboard. different colours and stuff like that. nothing game-related as far as i know.

Thats a little upsetting. I see some cool stuff for league and other games like changing colors due to the status of the game. I haven't gotten mine to do anything like that and I was just wondering. If its any help, I have the Alienware Alpha that I am trying to do this stuff for.
