Why does she sound so ill? :(
It's weird because the safehouse lines are fine, but the new in-game lines sound so sickly..

Probably an Irish stereotype that she'd scream like a banshee. Then again, I don't mind it. I actually kind of like it, because the purpose of shouting is to be heard.

Unless I'm missing something?

I think he means the medic call-out lines?

I've heard it too, she just sounds sick when saying lines that are related to the medic.

Calling characters like Sydney too sounds sick as well.

I don't think that's the case. I've seen Aoife Duffin (Clover's actress) perform before, and she sounds exactly the same as Clover.

I noticed it with Dragan too. When you call out a medic, it sounds like someone else. Maybe OVK had to get new VAs for the new lines to keep cost down?

Her voice sounds the same yes, if you listen to her voice in the safehouse she sounds alright. But I think it just doesn't feel the same because she's not screaming or she doesn't speak as loud when she calls out medic kills like other specials, she reports it in a very manner of factly way. So in that sense she's performing out of character because she's rusty.

That makes a bit more sense. I kinda hope they try again and re-do the voices, make them even better. But, at the rate OVK updates audio, I doubt that'll happen soon, if at all.

Still, not bad on new recordings.

Clover sounds noticeably different when calling out her new lines ESPECIALLY Sydney. I really hope they re-record them and get them to be atleast similar to her other lines.

Yes, this sounded really, really strange. Calling out Sydney. Because they didn't record the entire line, they just recorded her saying "Sydney" and then spliced in the usual "follow me" or "on me, now!" And hearing the two pieces back to back, there's a *dramatic* difference.

When I first noticed, I couldn't stop making her call out to Sydney that entire heist. Because it just sounded so bad, I needed to be sure it wasn't just my ears hearing it wrong. It wasn't.
