I love the marshalls,More specials in the future or no?
So i am not saying we need a "lot" of specials just like a few new ones would be nice.Suggestion for medic dosers to spawn on all difficulties with the relevant health pool.
My opinion is The cloaser very strong and fast black camo armor giant shotgun and a stick on his side.He kicks you if to cloose,doesnt kick in offline mode and has relative difficulty health pool.
Add marshall lines?

I don't think marshals will get special lines like specials because marshals aren't really specials. Sure they have the same amount of HP as medics and tasers, but they aren't really that special, since they are just weaker snipers. They use sniper rifles like snipers, but snipers hurt a lot and are far more dangerous. They can really f you up, while marshals don't do that much of a damage. I still like them, since they aren't that dangerous but still make you keep an eye on them because of their weapon of choice.

No, gangsters are also not specials and you can't dom gangsters.

Fair point, Marshalls are gangsters confirmed. Oh god this is turning into the new Saints Row, quick kill them before it lays eggs.

In a way yes, but they would be pretty OP jokers. Weirdly enough you can dominate and joker the Heavy SWAT snipers that spawn on crime spree, and they're very similar to marshals. But then again those guys are limited to crime spree only (I think).

You can see the heavy ZEAL snipers in holdout too, but they're fairly useless as jokers, at least there. They have a higher health pool, but their damage is downright pitiful. You're better off with a heavy SWAT.

Overkill. Please stop adding new enemies they are annoying & you often make them full of bugs or are unbalanced. (ignoring the titan dozer, I like that fella.)

Marshalls are another mistake of an enemy type introduced.
Overkill keep making mistakes when introducing enemies & it is just annoying at best & at worst potentially heist ruining.
Marshalls being spread to more than just the ranch heist was a dumb idea as they do not fit with every heist, why the hell is this goof ball in what seems to be forest camo jumping into a hospital heist or in the Alaskan Deal heist?

Marshalls are pathetic on higher difficulties & I only notice them during the fades, their gimmick of piercing armour? well that is overshadowed by their unusually large hp pool larger than taser's/medic's I assume b/c of the hat, they don't even get to utilise their armour piercing ability b/c they deal such piss poor damage.
Marshalls are more of a threat to my ammo pool than to my health, they are more of a threat in stopping the objective rather than actually shooting me, I treat them like a tankier medic that cannot heal others rather than an actual enemy.

Since I have an excuse to go on a tangent about overkill's new enemies they introduced imma say what is wrong with most of them.

On release triad enemies on Dragon Heist/Ukrainian Prisoner had either no headshot hitbox or no headshot multiplier, can't remember which issue they had, IIRC it took them 6 months to fix (someone correct me on the time) & if they caught you in stealth they'd shoot on sight while not being able to be one shot unless you use a bow & even if you do one shot them they wouldn't rag doll unless you used a shotgun so even then they'd still have a chance of shooting off their gun in stealth if they got alerted. IIRC they also had the gangster AI so they'd shoot other guards but I can't remember them doing that often.


Medics are inconsistent mistakes that makes wolf have funny voice lines along with having the suppression preset incorrect causing them to constantly bag some tea while they get shot at which yes makes their head harder to hit but is not intentional & looks goofy af.

A report talking about the issue & even offers a potential solution yet will never get fixed.

Oh and they are one of the few enemies that don't care about being on fire for some reason. I can understand bulldozers not caring as they have basically reached the limit of humanity & have a bomb suit on & maybe shields as they have no animation for it but the medic being immune to fire panic? wtf even the cloaker being the badass he is can rarely will power his way through being lit on fire. The medic doesn't even save civilians, if you shoot one nearby a medic it will die b/c I guess you only get saved if you got insurance & I'm not 100% sure about this but IIRC medics don't save cloakers, correct me on this please I'm not sure & do not want to test.

Minigun/Medic dozers not counting towards spawn caps but it's ok the difficulty of DW/DS comes from the bugs of the game as well as the nutty spawn cap that limits how many enemies can spawn in sometimes.

These 2 crimespree enemies should've stayed as a gimmick as they are only a threat in large numbers to the players ammo reserves, it is common to just ignore the minigun dozer due to their disapointing walking speed.

I don't think Captain Winters bugs out anymore causing an infinite assault but a few of my modded friends say he still does, Imma ignore that bug here for now & focus on his balancing.
Remove the explosion bonus damage he takes & make em take even less piercing damage from snipers/ap pistol/slugs as he is too easy to deal with, the 50% dmg reduction he gives to everyone on the map is a tad bit dumb but I'm not sure how to rework it so I guess it can stay.
His damage is also pitiful.

Remember that people thought jokering the ZEAL heavy snipers (which were removed by the way) were a good idea and it turned out to be utter ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ because the amount of damage they did was utter ass cream, to the point Overkill either made an update that made it so you couldn't joker those snipers or just dropped a hotfix doing just that.

I think specials like swat turret, medic and captain winters where very creative and added more to the game, while marshals where meh. I like new specials but only if they are good specials.

Some might disagree about the turret and Winters given that they both are spawned in VERY specific spots that once learned pretty much can either make them removed as threats which in the case of Winters entirely makes his mechanic of a never ending assault wave redundant especially when some heists at least in the past had some assault waves bleed into the previous waves meaning there were more cops than there was ever supposed to be.

winters does more than just prevent the wave from ending, the longer he's on the map, the more HP and damage the cops have

if your build relies on a carefully measured break point for headshots, you're in trouble

I am sorry for being all over the place i want payday to be the best polished game and as good as payday the heist.Everything is a mess and needs more organising in game.Add marsshall Voice Lines For the entire cast.
I do have a feeling,why did payday add captain winters?he is the worst special enemy and needs dlc weapons to deal with.I just use the community grenade or platypus sniper.
More special enemies will be appreceated in the far future.

The AP pistol/Compact 40mm is free right? those are some of the best tools for removal of captain disappointment.

Captain does not increase the damage at all he only gives all cops on the map 50% dmg resistance which is more annoying than anything else. He also causes an infinite assault as well.
His presence on the map is so weak new players often don't even know he's there, we should've had some voice line of the contractor repeatedly warning us about the captain being on site making things more difficult.

the game makes it pretty clear that the captain is there, it has an loud audio cue, the assault banner changes to spell it out in plain english, and captain is also loud and can be heard very clearly pining for his men's communication and tight formations

i was wrong about the damage buff, but needing double the damage to kill enemies being an "annoyance" is kinda the point, it makes it harder until you clear him out

it's only an annoyance, and not a "real threat" because unless you're on the hardest difficulty, combining any 2 damage boosting skills is total overkill, so 200% HP enemies aren't really any more dangerous
