Hila: "I literally dont know what to do and i feel hopeless, and i feel like theres zero hope."
Ethan: "Yeah I dont know. I was wondering... saw there was a big protest outside the NRA meeting which was good. Do we have any insight into what theyre actually talking about there at the NRA meeting thats today in texas. Someone should bomb that building."
Man off camera: "Dont-"
Ethan: "Okay, Ill roll that back"
Man off camera: "Roll that back immediately"
Hila: "Everything *but* violence" (everyones laughing)
Ethan has been very emotional about the Ulvade situation and judging from the clip it felt like either something he said out of frustration and immediately regretted saying or a bad joke that he realized probably wouldnt fly.
Except it's not literally him. It's a fictional character who happens to share most of the same backstory, looks, and details. By your logic, we should be locking up Bob Barker for assault because his identical character on Happy Gilmore got into a fistfight with the titular character.
I'm not trying to defend real-life!Ethan's actions, and I'd be perfectly okay with Overkill trying to distance themselves from him over it, but let's act somewhat rationally here, okay?
Same wife
Same beer
Same familly
Same show. It's him. He does not even have a nickname like John Cleese is Aldstone or Eric Etebari is Dallas, no, it's straight up Ethan Klein from h3h3
The DLC is a billboard for his brand, "h3h3 dlc pack". Sorry to break it to you, it's him that OVERKILL advertises, not a fictional clone. Him and a bomb threat, of all things.
And yet, not same person. Unless you're suggesting that the real Ethan Klein is inside my computer right now, getting ventilated by a SWAT Turret as I type this.
It's also highlighted on KiwiFarms as we speak right now.
Going off of Twodots' logic? Apparently so. Apparently fiction and real-life are the exact same thing.
It's almost like a fictional character isn't the real person (or again, we'd be locking up Bob Barker for his character's actions in Happy Gilmore). Once again, I'm not trying to defend Ethan. Frankly, if Overkill decided right now to end their collaboration to the full extent that they're allowed to, legally, I'll be one of the first to applaud it. But I'm not the one claiming that a fictional person is the same as a real one.
