Which DLC you have? By I mean the paid ones. All Legacy DLCs or post-White House DLCs (Mountain Master, Border Cross, etc.)
if you still want do dps while able to do support, just pick leech. effect from crew chief pretty much underwhelming, especially in higher difficulty, expect for stamina if you want to speedrunning. and crew chief really tied up with heavy armor for better survivability
I'm pretty sure KSP + Compact is still a pretty decent option today, Lmgs are pretty strong general weapons and Compact for the AOE sometimes.
Leech is not better as a support. Leech heals every deck, but doesn't heal Berserker players at all. All of the buffs from Crew Chief are pretty universal like confirming 2 Hit ICTV on setups that don't, Health increase and Damage Reduction.
Leech has probably better DPS potential of encouraging to run Suit so there is Low Blow Crits, but Crew Chief can run Low Blow with the correct setup being Light Armor converts.
The build has alot of flaws but I don't really want to go into it unless you want me to explain why. Though I'm sure it's not meant to be a DS build.
