Serial number on the last column to the right. You will need to register, tho.
Other products are also available, like illustrator, for making complex patterns and vectors.

I want a long term solution
the long term solution would be Can't actually talk about it here like 90% of the people who have photoshop installed on their machines :P

You're right, you can't discuss it here, so please don't

No idea what you are talking about.

Say you have an archive called stuff.zip. In this archaive, you have nested folders. For instance, I'm interested in the files in stuff.zip/pics/holiday/. I'd like to extract JUST those files in an empty folder called, for instance, %UserProfile%\Documents\Holiday Pictures. I would expect 7Zip to extract the image files from the archive into my destination folder. What it would actually do instead was to put them in %UserProfile%\Documents\Holiday Pictures\stuff\pics\holiday.

It would preserve the archive's internal folder structure even if I want to extract individual files, which ended up being very, very annoying to me.

It shouldn't do this, only Winzip did that. 7zip has not done that for me. Maybe some obscure setting you accidentally enabled?
Adm. Sealy McSeal Lancelot eredeti hozzászólása:
the only annoying part is that you have to right click / open archive. But most likely there is a way to have it to it for you when you double click on it. It dosent annoy me enough to have me look for it.

Setting a default programme for specific file types isn't difficult. Besides, I'm pretty sure 7Zip has an option to manage file associations through the programme itself. Not really an issue I'm worried about.
