How is money gonna increase on difficulty.
I'm sorry but a bag of cash is a bag of cash and a bag of cash doesnt change value.

it doesn't change value, it's just that the higher the difficulty, the more the heisters bother to pack money into the bags!

The difficulty may affect the shares; that is, how much of the total value of the bag of money goes to you, and how much goes to Crime.net, or Bain.

I'm sorry but a bag of 1 Dollar Bills will definitely be less than a bag of 100 Dollar Bills.

Well, unless there are 100 1-dollar bills, and only one 100-dollar bill, in which case the total value is identical.

Pretty sure you'd need to launder the money first as well, since the serial numbers would probably be tracked if you tried to redeposit the money; which would affect it's actual value.

But on a serious note, I always imagined, as M0D says, it's a difference in cut between the various people involved in the heist (Bain, Twitch, Bile, Insiders, Bribes to the Cops/FBI, etc.)

A bag has a finite volume to hold. 1-dollar bills and 100-dollar bills have pretty much the same volume (or at least with an acceptable margin). Lets say you can fit 500 1-dollar bills in a bag (which equals to $500) then you can fit ~500 100-dollar bills in the same bag. That'll make a total of $50.000 vs. $500.

The bags are obviously filled up to the brim in this game; at least they are always filled equally. So I dropped that scenario of 100 bills vs 1 bill.

You're trying to find a realistic explanation for loot bags changing the value when changing the difficulty but the possibility to change the difficulty is absolutely fine?!?

Seriously, it's a game where you can change the difficulty and the loot bag value changes with the difficulty to reward playing at higher difficulty. It's a game mechanic, that's the only reason.

I thought a bag of cash decreases more in value the longer you hold it. National debt and inflation whosiwhatsits.

Steal gold today, heisters
