Do you mean the fact, that you can only move around by teleporting?
Smooth turning is, when turning is smooth :) right now you can only turn around in 45 degrees or 90 degrees turn - and this is done by pushing a button on either the left or right controller.
They just need to make it like when you move around in ANY OTHER vr game
most games have snap turn which moves you a set amount of degrees in one direction, and better games also include smooth turn which smoothly rotates you in a direction instead of snapping
It is not just "better" games and even if it was, then Payday 2 should be in that category - even in vr.
But thank you for explaining smooth turning a bit better :) as a vr-player you sometimes forget that people not neccesarily knows about everything you are saying

The mod also adds a variety of other good options that turn payday 2 VR from a mediocre port to very fun with a bit of jank
This is the correct link I think https://gitlab.com/znixian/payday2-vr-improvements
I will look into this right away
Hopefully the Devs will someday add what even modders could do.
figure it out
Also, if you don't like the game the way it is and don't want to use mods to improve your experience, there are plenty of other VR games
Weapons reloading by only bringing the magazine up to the gun was probably done because there's far too many weapons to create ways to have more iteractivity with guns. Also it will always be on that timer for balance reasons, since it's supposed to reflect the same gameplay as the flatscreen version where some guns are balanced around reloading slower or faster than another.
Smooth turning is one of those things I wish they'd add in. And they have touched up VR a little bit like the graphical and crash fixes they did, so maybe one day we'll get smooth turning.
Everything else will stay as is most likely.
The lack of smooth turning is a game changer and I dont even think it is hard to make, many VR games just start out with "snap turn" because some people get sick when being able to turn on the stick in VR.
I know that the Devs are good and listens to people - hence I dont see why it has not been added since modders have apparently already made the work for them.
