Bots vs Randoms

Random question but do you guys prefer playing on offline with bots or playing with randoms in public lobbies?

Just wanna see what your opinions are or whatever

For stealth i prefer playing offline, bot boosts are better than players and not much risk

For small bank,jewelry,diamond jobs its kinda fun to play with random people.

For DS/DW plays i play in public lobbies. Good players are better than bots in ds or dw imo

Most of the time I play with friends but when I do play solo, I usually join public lobbies. There's no particular reason why and also it's also better to play stealth solo unless you just fail a stealth heist for all eternity.

Mostly host pubs for DW. The variety of players joining helps keep the game fresh, though it's not fun when a newb joins or when at least one ally doesn't pull their weight. But hey, that's multiplayer in any game.

I like running bot lobbies for stealth missions on occasion. It does help a lot when you have players that can move bags, however.

The only other reason I would run a bot lobby is to go for some achievements which players likely wouldn't want to go for. Safe House Nightmare on DSOD is a recent example lmao.

Pubs are just way funnier tbh. Playing with friends is always the best option, but if you wanna have fun, pubs are just hilarious on DS. Maybe I'll stick with offline for stealth mission, but even in that case playing with the right pub can make your day.

Stealth - With Bots (Team AI quick boost is OP)
Public lobbies - Death Wish or Below typically public
DSOD loud maps - With Bots (The chances of finding a good player when you have allow modded players unticked is slim, most other players that join will mostly be unprepared players, costing you one of your bots when they custody themselves. I'm not good at this difficulty and am just trying to get a clear, as such RNG can make quite the big difference between the level being manageable and an objective eating too many of my resources.)

I prefer publics to bots. However if even 1 friend is online they're by far the best to play with.

I don't mind both, but if I play my crimespree, definitely bots and I have everything I want in game so I don't mind seeing the hilarity that sometimes I witness with pubs.

Basically I care only for stealth when we fail a bit too many times (if I even want to stealth at that point) and for my crimespree.

Some enemies deal more damage than others.

The cops that I worry about the most for my bots are only cloakers and minigun dozers, the others don't deal that much damage but in a big group they can be deadly as almost the minigun dozer.

Still prefer my bots because of boosts and more reliability rather than randoms. Would I play with normal unmodded bots? Maybe, but good players are better in that case

Edit: I forgot about turrets. Those are the real worry sometimes on some maps, they kill bots' health like no tomorrow.

When not with Friends, I usually preffer playing solo, unless the heist has really Big amounts of bag moving or I feel like trying my luck.

I would join public lobbies every now and then or help people I see asking for help in the forums.

Edit; It depends on difficulty too I do not mind doing mayhem and sometimes deathwish with randoms
