sorry man, payday does this, thats why you should back up your save files, i assume you havent done that? have you?

Restarting your game should fix this issue, however I'd also highly recommend making a backup of your save files every now and then. I've linked a guide down below that should help with that and can help you restore a backup if you have one.

Ouch, I feel for ya. Major fail on a games part when you have to "backup" your saves. The entire point of a save is to "backup" progress in a game to begin with. If you have to backup your backup, well then something isn't right.

I would try and get a refund on this, this essentially makes the game unplayable as there is a chance that any progress you make is null and void because the game will delete it.

How can anyone justify getting a refund on a game they've had for four or more years? Steam policy doesn't extend that far.

OP should honestly just get back to that progress one way or another. It won't be impossible, even if it is tough to start with. Just think of how many did full resets in the past and built right back up to infamy 25 before we got infamy 3.0.

I wasnt even gonna try for a refund I support payday cant wait till payday 3, I'm just to butthurt to play
