About Getting Jacket...

Im in doubt about it, if i buy Hotline Miami - Special Edition, will i get the other things? Bcz pd2 says that u need like, the normal version to get other things, but it also says that u need special edition to get jacket, im kinda confused about this, do you need to buy them separately or just owning the special edition will get me everything?

(Sorry if this doesn't makes any sense, im just confused...)

Yes, owning Hotline Miami 2 Wrong Number Digital Special Edition will give you access to masks and Jacket character pack. You need to own base game + upgrade, you can either buy them separately or just buy the upgraded edition.

Yes. If you want only those masks or whatever there is in normal edition. With special digital edition u get things from normal and special edition. For some reason i already had them without owning the game, but i guess its because of the shared library. (Only the basic masks, not Jacket & Sociopath, that i had to get with the special edition from cdkeys)

Some stuff is for owning Hotline Miami 1 too as i remember.

But it is a very cool game that you should play anyway to learn more about original Jacket.

Base game gets you masks

HM1 gets you masks and a briefcase.

As far as I know, Hotline Miami 2 Wrong Number codes aren't region locked so buying it outside the Steam should work.

Unfortunately Australians can't obtain Jacket via their steam store. Overkill no longer gives out codes to Australian Citizens.

It worked! Was about AUD$8.20 (for any other Australians who might be reading this, the special edition is on sale via 'CDKeys'), and I can play as Jacket now. ^_^

Yeah, I remember when it was first a thing; but I never really felt comfortable scanning my drivers license to send to a videogame company - and then I quit playing like in 2018 and it didn't matter anymore. :-p
(I get that they had to have some form of verification to help us out, given our government's stance on videogames, but I still prefer to be a little privacy-conscious.)
