Well as of right now its the only connection to a story Overkill can work with! Especially when you take into account of all the characters that are either from over games outside of Overkill's creation like Jacket or movies like John Wick and Scarface likely aren't gonna be making any kind of reappearances in PD3 except maybe as easter eggs but that's about it. The endings also do mean that even if they appear "too random" to some people everyone does have to eventually retire from their line of work in some shape or form and I'm sure you've probably even seen a few people retire from their line of work that to you would be "too random" [/quote]
