Pay day 2 locked at 60 fps

I know its not a problem with steam or my pc cause I have other games where my fps goes as high as 300 but in pay day 2 its locked at 60 or whatever my refresh rate is. If I change it to 75 the max will be 75 on 60hz 60fps Is there a way to remove this lock. I dont have a fps lock in the seting and vsync is turned off btw Im using linux arch and a amd gpu Thanks in adance!

Check your .txt file with the graphics resolution settings. There's stuff in there for your resolution, frame rate, monitor etc. Sometimes for whatever reason it locks it lower than someone would like.

mmm I have 144hz monitor and games counter will say whatever number they say, but if your windows or OS are locked you wont see more than 60 fps. So you should go to the screen config >> Advanced >> show properties of screen adaptor >> Monitor
and in that part choose the Hertz, if it says 60 hz you are seeing everything in 60 hz, if your monitor is capable of more hertz you can choose them here..
this is for windows.. I never had linux..
Also if your monitor is 60hz max then you won't see more than 60 fps, even if the fps counter shows 120 fps you are not seeing them.
