How do you switch between trip mines and shaped charges?

i never use this deployable so honestly idk how to switch.

trying to use c4/shaped charge to blow up a safe, explosive trip mine didnt do it

shaped charges are placed when you interact with a message like 'hold f to use a shaped charge'
holding g as you would any other deployable places a trip mine

the trip mine and shaped charge are the same item, its both a trap and safe/door buster

They both have a different item count. If you use all of your trip mines you'll still have your shaped charges left. Same thing for using all your shaped charges.

Edit: @Knight you were probably trying to use a charge on a titan safe.

i used a trip mine on the safe in vlads, like 3 of them exploded and the safe didnt open

You don't. It's automatic.

If you have 10 tripmines and 4 shaped charges you can use the 4 charges on a door/safe/whatever and use tripmines as...tripmines.

They're 2 entirely different items.

You don´t switch, Shaped Charges are placed down by holding F like you would place C4 or a Drill.

You don´t switch, Shaped Charges are placed down by holding F like you would place C4 or a Drill.

If you're trying to do the Let's Do Th... achievement do it on Overkill and nothing else. The tiara will ALWAYS be in a safe even though Bain and the escape vehicle guy tells you to look in the displays.

Just run in to one safe, plant your shaped charges and if it's not the tiara just restart it. It might take a few tries but it's really simple.
