Perk Decks?
Hey there. So, back when this game first launched I got it, but sadly, my PC at the time was, lets say, not up to par. So, I uninstalled and kinda forgot about it until about a week ago when I got back into it and REALLY got into it when I got the Ultimate Edition. So I have a few questions. Perk decks being the major ones.

I like being a tanky character but can stealth if need be, so I went with the armorer deck. My thought process being, if they can't get through my armor, I won't need to worry about my health. I use the Iron Man vest but I still have issues going down more than I would like. I still feel quite squishy even with the armorer deck maxed out. I play on the Offline Crime.net due to not wanting to screw someone's heist up so I usually carry around a Medic bag, the KSP 58, and the China Puff 40mm.

So my question is, should I be doing something different in order to secure my payday? Like using a different perk deck or something? Or should I continue on with my path and just expect to get downed once in awhile?

Thank you and have a great day!

Take cover every now and then to regen your armor. Your armor wont last forever after all. Don't stand out in the open like Rambo, and make sure youre actually wearing armor, preferrably the heaviest armor. It might seem obvious to some, but there are people who are used to other shooters that might not get that immediately.

True. Usually the only time I pop out of cover is to set up my LMG with the bipod to mow down a hallway but even on like, Overkill and Mayhem, as soon as I pop out of cover, I get completely ripped to shreds. I mean, I assume that is normal?

1.Select a good weapon.
LMG is suck because it is totally useless on DW or OD , use High Rof Low damage Shotgun(M1014 , Izhma , Steakout ,etc) , 160 damage Rifles(CAR-4-DMR) and 160 damage Sniper(Gromp , R93 .etc ) as your primary weapon.

2.There are 4 perks which can be used on every difficulties ,
Stealth ---> Burglar
Loud(ICTV) ---> Armorer for all difficulties.
Loud(Suit_Dodge) ---> Rouge for DW or above , Grinder for MH or below.
Loud(Suit_Hybird Armor with Dodge) ---> Anachrist for all difficulties.

3.Take cover
It is important to cover since your armor cannot be regenerate if you are hurted unless you are using Anachrist perk.

Is it ok if I use the Street Sweeper for my sidearm? I like using the Thanatos sometimes as well as my primary.

Yakuza is also a viable one for its movement speed boost.

It depends on which difficulties you are playing.
The reload speed of Street Sweeper is slow.Maybe you can try Goliath 12G with Close by ACE.
Thanatos.50 can not be your main weapon because the ammo pick up of it is really bad.
I suggest you use Goliath 12G as your main weapon and Thanatos.50 as your support Weapon.
Just remeber to get Overkill ACE for higher damage to both weapon so that your killing efficient will be increased

Yakuza is not useful for him because he is not a speeder.

Oh ok, I have aced the Enforcer Subtree and I'm trying to Ace the Oppressor subtree for all the LMG stuff. So should I just refund my points and put them into the Shotgun skill tree? Sorry, I can't remember the name of it right off the top of my head.

You can right click to refund the skill.
Overkill ACE , Iron Man ACE and Swan Song ACE must be needed.
Duck and Cover Basic and Second Wind Basic must be needed too.
If you want to save your teammates easily , use Inspire ACE.
If you want to deal more damage , use berseker ACE and Frenzy Basic.

Ah ok, that makes sense. Thanks for the advice.

Well first of all, once you choose a perk deck you should commit to it. If you haven't fully leveled up Armorer yet, don't add points to something else until you're done (especially since a lot of the best perks are at the end). That being said, the best offline perk decks are usually the ones that give healing. As such, the next one you should go with would absolutely be Muscle.

Oh, and don't forget Parkour. It only says it adds 10% speed but for whatever reason it's more like 40% speed on the ICTV.

Ah ok! I have actually maxed out Armorer. But I was thinking of putting some work into Grinder. So Muscle is better?

In my opinion , Muscle is suck because it will ruin berseker's damage bonus.
Keep it in your mind.
There are two advantage of playing heavy armor.
First, heavy armor can let you deal higher damage with berserker and frenzy stably and safely.
Second, using heavy armor can make you deal with sniper easiy.
