Cheaters ruining the game

I know Payday 2 is peer to peer so there aren't dedicated servers to ban from, nor is there any way to stop them from doing what they do. The one thing you have in order to tell them apart is the "CHEATER" tag. Initially I figured, what the hell, if a guy spawns an extra ammo bag I won't let it ruin the game for me. Then another guy converts all the cops on First World Bank mayhem to friendly. Kinda amusing, but whatever.

This last game however, First World Bank on one down difficulty. We get through it and I'm super proud and excited to have finally finished it successfully. I'm not even Infamy 1, but I held my own and it was an awesome feeling. Ten seconds after loading the last bag onto the truck and standing on the escape zone, the host starts spawning a zillion bags out of nowhere and then jumps on the escape. Just like that, I made $129,000,000.

Maybe you're thinking, "wow, that guy's so lucky!" But for me, what I now have are two options: keep playing, feeling completely bored and disillusioned because why bother playing when I now have everything? The second option is a hard reset, which feels just as bad because I'll know it was just one guy with a hard on for hacking that put me in that position.

What's done is done. Far as I know each level of Infamy wipes your spending cash (I think) so I'll just get to 1 and not spend any of it. But I'm writing this to those of you who want to enjoy this game that you paid for: If you see someone with the cheater tag above their heads, don't assume they're just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ around or showing off. They can negatively impact your game experience, and not just in the one lobby. I for one am ditching whatever game I wind up in when the cheater tag pops up, regardless of how far along in a heist I am.

And if you are a cheater, if you're gonna screw around like that, at least have the human decency to tell your teammates before you screw them over. Or go play modded up Skyrim.

My Proof was laid out in the last few messages of your profile being private & being so defensive over the fact someone brought up the ToS on Steam Achievements (Which you can find yourself if you really want proof on that still) Being so that is a fine line to have an Accusation. Like i said you got Proof to Debunk the Accusation or Shall i go to sleep with nothing you said meaning anything lmao

Cheating accusation posts are not allowed. You're free to feel however you want about them, but not having access to someone's profile isn't proof of anything, and even if someone IS cheating, report it, don't post about it.

Alright, Well then its an Assumption more then an Accusation as the Hostile Remarks Previously Made was Showing Otherwise. Also 2-D that screenshot isnt much as if you wanted to prove it you would of shown your username as that screenshot could of been someone else's profile. I Dont Expect you to Actually Prove it Any Farther as i dont Accuse you but ill still keep my assumptions.

The only proof you have is him having a private profile, which confirms nothing. if you are going to make acussations, come up with proof of your own or shut up.

The main Reason for the Assumption (Was corrected in above post saying it was an assumption more then an accusation) was the Hostile Remarks when i said Using Mods or Hacks for earning steam achievements is against the ToS. Having a Private Profile just helped the Assumption as whats to hide over a gaming network. My Mistake for Calling it an Accusation when the correct wording was Assumption.

I had cheaters ruining my game. 4 of us were playing the Prison Nightmare level when all of a sudden, this one guy started spamming rocket launchers all over, friendly firing the rest of us. He did not even bother to help us! Another time is on the First World Bank level. We wanna do it stealthily but this guy kept shooting rockets, killing everyone. Again I have to quit the level.It is frustrating! i wanna have fun and be challenged! If I wanna cheat, I would have played CSGO!

Yeah, someone lock this up, I forgot the part where phrasing an opinion in any way will insult half the people on Earth regardless. /shrug, I'm still expecting someone to quote this and continue getting frustrated... will check out community forums for toxicity next time I decide to buy into a game.
