Payday 2 Play Together

Some dont like it, some love it.
This guide will help explain all the stuff the game kind of overwhelms people with all at once, too:

If anything, PD2 is similar to an RPG
"Confused by the game's shortage of explainations about what the heck half this stuff is" hard, is not good. And it does have quite the shortage.
Game is hard at first, but once you start to understand you're not playing a shooter, but a heist game that can turn into a shooter, it isn't as bad. Run the music, learn the beats, you will know when something is about to hit or not and where it is going to come from. Listen for the sounds of tasers. Gotta love tasers as well as stealth units. Shield units are bad at first until you learn counters for them, but if you want an easier time early on. Just do some standard easy stealth missions and DO NOT join a deathwish mission without proper gear and perks.
