What is a preferred armor for heists?

I really prefer movement speed so I go for the lightweight vest. but with my detection risk at 75 due to my loadout, should I just stick to a heavier vest?

If you're going loud, yeah go full body armor.

Any armor that fits your build. Someone using Armorer or muscle for instance would probably want to use the ICTV, while ICTV would be ♥♥♥♥ for a dodge build no matter what map youre in.

detection risk don't really matter unless you going for concelment dodge/crits

tbh, use any armor based on your skills.
- Mobility with Rogue / Sicario? Suit
- Mobility with Anarchrist? Either Suit or Lightweight
- Soaking damage with Muscle / Kingpin? ICTV
- etc.

if you want to be a dodger watch B33croft's/Connor Shaw's dodge deck videos.You can use sicario. Im using sicario even tho i have grinder. The real deal for dodgers is gaining health (a.k.a. Bullseye aced/Grinder/Infiltator)

If you want movement speed while packing a punch I suggest you make a dodge build.

Although your options are severely limited if you lack DLC.

Then again you can go Anarchist with lightweight vest

It REALLY depends. If you're running anything under Overkill, I'd say stick to Ex-President perk deck with the LWBV. If you're doing anything Overkill or higher, you're gonna want heavy armor for sure. Dodge builds are dead as ♥♥♥♥, so there's no reason to bother. But, if you do want heavy armor, Anarchist/ICTV is a good option.
